A Love Tempestuous
2017
42 x 59.7 cm, Ink on Paper
This piece deals with the doubts and fears I’ve harboured about love and fate. Albeit naively, I question the belief of the existence of a "Universe's plan". I deliberately render Aphrodite as an ambiguous figure who will decide whether to protect or punish me. Her colossal birth-shell is both an impenetrable fortress and prison, in which I am subject to her whims.
